Jo is a communications professional and disability advocate driven by accelerating diversity, equity, and inclusion through communicating the commercial and social value of inclusively designed buildings and spaces. She is particularly passionate about inclusive workplaces, hospitality settings, and homes that enable disabled people to thrive in barrier-free environments that provide choice and support their independence, safety, and wellbeing. At Motionspot, Jo relishes working with progressive organisations to create uplifting inclusive spaces that support their EDI recruitment and retention ambitions and deliver against their social ESG targets. As well as to communicate their achievements and impact to a broad range of stakeholders. Jo is a mentor to people who have recently experienced spinal injury via the Back Up Trust. She is also happy to share insights into her own lived experience of being a wheelchair user since 2018.
