I studied a BSc in Construction Management at the University of Paisley which led to my interest in estates and building management. After I graduated, I worked in the construction industry before becoming interested in this 'new area' of the built environment called facilities management I kept hearing about. My first role in facilities management was with a young and dynamic FM business which was partly owned by one of the UK's largest real estate companies. From there, I embarked further on my career journey into FM. I subsequently joined two FM businesses in the UK in senior business development and director roles. I then joined boutique facilities management company, Anabas, 11 years ago as managing director. I enjoy leading a business that is dedicated to helping its clients create memorable workplace experiences in their premium, corporate office buildings. It's an exciting industry to be part of at the moment.
